Opole Power Plant Construction site

We delivered and installed flue gas supply ducts between the absorber and the cooling stack at the Opole Power Plant construction site on an order from Dutch Plasticon Composites. Subsequent duct sections were loaded on a low-loading semitrailer at the pre-fabrication site and transported to the installation site.

The heaviest of the three duct sections weighed 43.5 tons net. The load requiring lifting, including additional equipment, weighted 50 tons gross. Each component of 9.4m diameter was lifted to a height of 40m and lowered onto 32.5m tall structures.
